Nakoda Textile joins exclusive club of India's finest 500 cos

Nakoda Textile Industries Ltd has announced that the company joins exclusive club of India's Finest 500 Companies. According to a study conducted by Research Bureau Finance Express. Nakoda Textiles Industries Ltd. joins the Countries Exclusive Club of finest 500 Companies based on the performance for 2007-2008.

Nakoda Textile Industries Ltd was ranked 448th in terms of Net Sales, 475th Gross Profit wise & 493rd in Corporate Ranking. Nakoda Textile Industries is one of the largest manufacturer of FDY with an installed capacity of 19500 MTPA.

Company is presently engaged in manufacturing of POY, FDY & Texturising Yarn. Company has recently finalized expansion plan in its texturised capacity from existing level of 1070 MTPA to 29870 MTPA. The aforesaid expansion is being implemented at Textile Park of which Nakoda Textile Industries Ltd is main sponsor. The said plant will be fully operational by Sept. 2009.

For the financial year ended 2008 Company achieved a turnover of Rs 800 Crore.

Company's order book in FDY Yarn is more than a month's production capacity of Company's FDY Plant. A dividend of 6% (Rs 0.60 per equity share) on the equity shares of the Company was approved at the Annual General Meeting of the company held on June 24, 2009.
