'Is fashion show or business? at CPH Vision it's both!'

This August, the theme at CPH Vision will focus around the campaign that is currently running worldwide in numerous international trade publications:'Is Fashion Show or Business? At CPH Vision it's both'.

This, of course, is nothing new to us. Ever since CPH Vision was set up, show and business have been equally important. What is really new this time is our fresh guise as the entire fair is dedicated to show-business, inspired by the world of musicals, theatre and performance arts.

"We want to offer that extra something. Without compromising on the business part, we feel it's important to give our visitors an extra boost of inspiration - especially in these times. We want them to leave the fair, not only with newly signed orders and positive figures, but also feeling a great deal of optimism and that the fair has provided substance." On board again are Penther Mannequins and Royal Copenhagen who will present a magnificent exhibition of hand-painted mannequins, painted with the Royal Copenhagen classic Mussel-painted designs. The extraordinary art pieces will be exhibited in the CPH Vision foyer and later also at the Royal Copenhagen Store in the centre of Copenhagen.

These Elements will also be seen in the CPH Vision Press Lounge which will be decorated in a Royal Copenhagen theme.

As part of our long-term strategy for the Copenhagen Fashion Fairs, CPH Vision will focus more on designer brands. The brands exhibiting at CPH Vision will be established brands with a clear identity and a strong, defined profile and vision. These are brands that work perfectly together in terms of target and price range with a common denominator of good mark-ups and an ability to do very well in the international market. The segments presented are Classic Homme and Feminine Classic with brands like I by I, Lukou, Munthe Plus Simonsen, Borcher, Odd Molly and French Connection, Utzon , Hunky Dory.

Again exhibitors will be offered the exclusive opportunity to present their shows in the new improved CPH Vision Show Scene. The venue has been remodelled and now has a direct entrance to the tent.

We also have two major anniversaries to celebrate as Munthe Plus Simonsen turns 15 and MUUS celebrates its 10th anniversary this August.
