The event concluded with the AWARDS DINNER and the grand final of the SDC global design competition, judged by a panel of leading designers and industry juries. The winner of the global competition was Ms Moipone Qekisi from South Africa.
Finalists from each of the participating countries – Australia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom and the United States – were also present for the announcement of the global winner and the presentation of SDC Colour Design Award 2009.
