Clariant offers Drimaren for Cellulosics

Entrepreneurs and processors involved in the Cellulosics Printing activity always expect a high performance range of Reactive Dyes for Printing from Clariant.To provide a platform in the form of Technical briefings on the Printing scenario and the new trends in textiles, Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited launched its “Drimaren PS for Cellulosics” on June 22, 2009.
Mr. Anjani Prasad, Head-Textile, Leather & Paper Chemicals Division, India and Mr. Stefan Schlosser, Global Head, Product Management-Printing Textile Business, Clariant International Limited shared the salient features and benefits of this range. Dr. D.M. Wakankar, Head, Product Safety and Mr. Rajan Kelekar, Head, All India Sales and Mr. Shekhar Singh, Head -Business Line Printing, were part of the launch team.
Drimaren PS series of Dyes are specialty Reactive Dyes meant for Printing of Cotton/Viscose and other cellulosic blended fabrics. It is seen that the products available in the market are traditional MCT colors with less purity/more salt content/less consistent in terms of shade and strength which create issues for Reactive printers. Drimaren PS series is a fill-in the gap quality product for Reactive Dyes for textile printing and will complete our package range from Fiber to Finish. Drimaren PS provides fastness to dry cleaning/contact fastness/light fastness and other all round performances.
It is a full range of gummet of products from Lemon Yellow to Reds to Turquoise and Navy/Blacks. Excellent wash-off and brilliancy are the added features of Drimaren PS range and this is due to minimal salt content and higher purity. This being a global range, reliability and consistency is the key.
Clariant is the numero uno for Printofix and other range of colors in printing packages. Clariant not only offers this series of colors but also offers a complete package ranging from thickener to fastness enhancer to wash-off agent and is a solution provider of specialties like hard water complexing agents (Ladipur R3C). We also offer other auxiliary chemicals like defoamer (Antimussol UDF), mild oxidizer (Revatol NS Liq.) and synthetic thickener (Printofix Thickener DRA) for achieving better revenues and high speed printing.
The successful introduction of Drimaren PS will not only provide a quality product but also complete the entire range of Drimaren for all end uses.
