US Pima Cotton faces difficult times - Mr Jesse Curlee

Cotton, the natural fiber and one of the oldest fibers under human cultivation with traces over 7,000 years old recovered from archaeological sites, is going through difficult times these days.

Scarce production, weaker demand and availability of other alternatives at competitive prices have been some of the prime challenges for this day by day getting meager crop. With a view to learn more on the current updates in world cotton market as well as US Pima Cotton, Face2Face team at Fibre2Fashion approached Mr Jesse Curlee, President SUPIMA - the promotional organization of the American Pima cotton growers.
