FD Northwest European ethylene markets continue to spurt

Ethylene prices for CFR Northeast Asia, picked up cues from falling crude prices and for the second consecutive week fell when compared to last Wednesday's prices.
CFR Northeast Asia fell back marginally from $1040-1042 per metric ton to $1036-1038 per metric ton on July 29. However, that of CFR Southeast rebounded when compared with that of last Wednesday to grow from $1010-1012 per metric ton to $1023-1025 per metric ton.
Ethylene prices in the FD Northwest European markets, which had grown awesomely by €75 per ton last Wednesday, further grew from €725-730 per metric ton to €770-775 per metric ton, while ethylene prices for CIF Northwest Europe remained steady at $890-900 per metric ton.
Prices of ethylene in the US market which had reversed their trend on the previous Wednesday, continued to pick pace and rose from US cent 20.505-20.755 per pound to US cent 21.880-22.130 per pound.
