Swimmers herald return of traditional textile swim suits

World 50 metres backstroke champion, Liam Tancock has welcomed the move of the swimming governing body to revert back to the textile suits.
The governing body, FINA has set a tentative date of January 1, 2010 for the return of the normal style swimming costumes with restrictions on how much the body can be covered.
Tancock said that he and most of the other world swimmers were rooting for the return of the traditional textile swim suits.
