The 5th Yarn Expo opened on August 25th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre and will run till August 27th. Eight countries including Pakistan are taking part in this 3-day expo, said the organizers.

About 90 exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey and Vietnam, besides Pakistan are displaying their products in the expo.

The increase in numbers of exhibitors participating in the Expo supports the show concept and timing, and is expected to prove to be a substantial platform for the fibre and yarn suppliers to promote their products in China.

The organizers informed that the timing of the fair has now been made parallel to the Intertextile Shanghai Home Textile and the China Knitting International Fair. A variety of textile related products are exhibited here for the visitors.

This expo is an opportunity for the visitors to source a wide range of fibres and yarn including compact combed cotton yarns and twisted yarns, Chemical fibres, Speciality fibres, functional fibres, eco-friendly fibres, blended yarns and fibres.

Moreover, the visitors can get upgraded information on the latest technology in China, which is the key feature of the expo. A product presentation has also been planned during the expo moderated by Mr. Ye Jian chun, Vice-Secretary of China Cotton Textile Association.
