Exhibition of Korean handicrafts from Sept 5

Korean Fund of Culture and Heritage has organized an exhibition on Korean Handicrafts in Vietnam. It will open on September 5 and continue till 15 of the same month at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.
About 100 handicraft products such as dresses, shirts, hats, towels, stockings and decorative items will be displayed in the exhibition.
The handicraft items that are typically used during occasions such as birthdays and weddings to express wishes of health, wealth, happiness and luck will also be on display.
On the opening day of exhibition, visitors here will get a unique chance to watch the demonstration of sewing and braiding as the Korean Craftsmen are going to show their techniques in the exhibition.
The Fund intends to hold such exhibition in other countries also, in order to promote cooperation and culture exchange, informed Ms. Kim Hong-real, President of Korean Fund of Culture and Heritage.
