Mogul to enter into fiber technologies

Mogul Nonwovens is pleased to inform that they just commissioned a new spunlace line which will be operational by March 2010.This will be a first for Mogul to enter into fiber technologies and hydro entanglement and is an important milestone for Mogul.

New line has annual capacity of 6000 m tonnes, 3200 mm width, 30-80 gsm weight range, capable of running fibers like Tencel, VIS, PET, PLA, PP, Bleached cotton up to 100% and blends. Target markets mainly wet wipes, cosmetic applications, fem care and baby diapers, dust wipes, hair towels used in coiffeurs, medical bandages / gauzes and partly filtration, automotive. Line will be installed at a new building built at Mogul's second plant in 3rd industrial zone in Gaziantep.

Mogul currently produces pp and pet spunbond, meltblown, sms, coated/laminated fabrics, film etc. By starting of new line Mogul will be one of most comprehensive supplier of nonwoven fabrics with different technologies and diversified products especially at his size.

The line will be dedicated to wet wipes fabrics but it will be an important starting point for Mogul to diversify into spunlace for technical applications and hybrid technologies by combination of spunmelt technologies with hydroentanglement which is in line with expertise of company.
