Coldblack sun protection function now also available for wool

During “Indian Summer”, our days are marked not only by wonderful autumn colors but also by varying temperatures. The mornings are often quite chilly, while midday is nice and warm before the temperatures drop quickly again in the evenings. That is when we often go for a lightweight woollen pullover. If the sweater is dark, there can be a disadvantage as dark colors heat up considerably when exposed to sunlight. A garment that was nice and cozy in the morning turns into a “bakehouse” in the afternoon.

The coldblack finish comes to the rescue. It reduces the absorption of solar heat rays and at the same time, it offers an additional reliable protection from damaging UV rays. coldblack is also now available for many woolen products as well as spring and autumn wear. Even for the heavy winter coat or the cool woolen cap, the “dual” sun protection is a welcome benefit because temperature differences are less noticeable and a high level of UV protection is integrated. This is what makes coldblack the ideal sun protection all year round.
