The International Conference on “Steering Mature Business: A Leadership Challenge to Textile Industry” organised by Fibre2fashion and Ahmedabad Management Association on October 3 and 4 had a wide array of eminent speakers and participants from across all verticals of the textile industry.

He spoke about the rapid strides made by Japanese companies in innovation and R&D, which had helped them make rapid strides on the global arena and snatch away from the US what was once its strategic strengths and urged the Indian textile sector to follow the example of the Japanese.

After which began an interactive session, where participants were encouraged to put up questions concerning the industry, which was moderated by Mr Naishadh Parikh and answers were provided to their queries by the duo of Mr Varma and Dr Chaudhuri.
