Texprocess, the new Leading International Trade Fair for Processing of Textiles and Flexible Materials, has been given a warm international welcome in China. Messe Frankfurt announced the new fair at the China International Sewing Machinery and Accessories Show (CISMA).

The sector's global market leaders were delighted with the Texprocess concept, which is based on a high degree of internationality, a comprehensive product spectrum and a biennial event cycle. The new fair will make its debut in Frankfurt am Main from 24 to 27 May 2011and take place parallel to Techtextil, International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens. Texprocess is supported by the German Association VDMA Garment and Leather Technology

It is also supported by CISMA organiser, the China Sewing Machinery Association (CSMA). Thus, Messe Frankfurt has an expert partner in China with extensive knowledge of one of the biggest and future-oriented markets for the garment manufacturing and textile-processing industry.

On around 50,000 square metres of exhibition space, the new leading international trade fair will present the latest machines, plant, processes and services for making up textiles and other flexible materials. Around 500 exhibitors and 25,000 trade visitors are expected to take part in the première.

The range of products covers all process stages, i.e., from designing, cutting out, CAD/CAM processing and preparation for processing, via processing technologies and procedures, to distribution and logistics, finishing, disposal, recycling and environmental protection.

Texprocess is aimed at an audience from industrial sectors of garment manufacturing, textile processing, the technical textile processing industry, wholesale and retail trades & crafts and service industries, as well as scientific and training establishments.
