NFI appoints new vendor for hex rods

The Narrow Fabrics Institute (NFI) announced that it has contracted with a new vendor to supply orders for hex rods which are used in abrasion testing of narrow fabrics and webbings, as specified in ASTM D6770.
Cooperative Plating, St. Paul, Minnesota, will now be filling and shipping abrasion rod orders to NFI customers worldwide. Co-op Plating, an 80 year old company specializing in metal finishing for a broad range of industries has state-of-the-art metal handling capabilities, quick turn around and shipment service, and quality warehousing.
NFI is a division of the Industrial Fabrics Association International, which is the only trade association in the world representing the entire technical textiles industry value chain. IFAI was founded in 1912 and is today comprised of 2,111 member companies in 58 countries.
