Winner Shenzhen wins Contribution Award

Winner Medical Group Inc., a leading manufacturer and the largest exporter by volume in the medical dressing industry in China, announced that its subsidiary Winner Industries Co., Ltd., or "Winner Shenzhen", won a Contribution in the Chinese Nonwoven and Industrial Textiles Industry Award.
The winner of the Contribution in Chinese Nonwovens and Industrial Textiles Industry Award is determined and selected by the China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association. The election criteria are based on the candidates' contribution, innovation and prospects in the nonwovens industry.
Winner Shenzhen's winning the award is mainly attributable to its outstanding innovative PurCotton products, which combine the superior characteristics of both natural cotton and materials made by using nonwoven technology. Such products have many advantages over both woven cotton and synthetic nonwoven fabric. They are natural, safe, strong, durable, healthy and environmentally-friendly, and their quality standard is high. As of October 2009, Winner Medical has patented this advanced automation and design process in forty-two countries, including China, the U.S.A., Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Mexico, Nigeria and the Philippines and 34 member states of the European Patent Office.
"The Contribution Award we received significantly reflects our unique technology of the PurCotton production method, strong research and development ability and bright market prospects," said Jianquan Li, Chief Executive Officer of Winner Medical. "We believe PurCotton products are a medium- to long-term growth contributor to our revenue, because they can be applied to the medical industry as well as to other consumer products. We will continue to develop the market demand for PurCotton while expanding the production accordingly, and we believe PurCotton will give Winner Medical a strong competitive edge in the global marketplace," Mr. Li concluded.
