INVISTA, one of the largest integrated producers of polymers and fibres, and owner of the LYCRA fibre brand is set to raise new boundaries at this year's Denim by Première Vision.

Following its sponsorship of the denim café in Hall Haussmann at Première Vision in June, INVISTA continues to showcase its products in an engaging and interactive way using live models and concepts to effectively demonstrate the benefits of its fibres within garments.

INVISTA is launching its DJ and COFFEE POINT in Hall Eiffel as a welcome pad for all visitors at the show. The 38 sqm space will serve as a central meeting point with lounge music and complimentary coffees served all day. All hostesses and DJs, as well as still mannequins, will be dressed in denim garments made with a selection of INVISTA's innovations and fibres including LYCRA lastingFIT fabric, XFIT LYCRA fabric, T400 fibre and LYCRA fibre.

INVISTA will also use the platform of Première Vision to share the highlights of a recent study commissioned in conjunction with Jeanologia, one of the world's foremost denim finishing authorities. The first phase of the study evaluated the performance of different options in the marketplace for making bi-stretch fabrics, including INVISTA's T400 fibre, LYCRA fibre, as well as several competitive elastanes, stretch polyester and lastol. Enrique Silla, President of Jeanologia, said “We were pleased to work with INVISTA on this study which examines the performance of commercial bi-stretch fabrics under a wide range of finishing conditions. We believe the findings will be of interest to those currently producing or contemplating the production of bi-stretch fabrics s.”

The brand concept of LYCRA lastingFIT fabric reinforces INVISTA's strong heritage and reputation within the denim industry. Reflecting a new performance standard in the denim world, LYCRA lastingFIT fabric enables garments to hold their shape even after repeated wear with comfort stretch and minimal shrinkage.

Alongside new LYCRA lastingFIT fabric, INVISTA will also be showcasing its other denim innovations that continue to deliver comfort, style and fit to denim wearers across the world:

LYCRA fibre provides denim fabrics with:

• Cotton-rich aesthetics
• A wide window of fabric stretch
• Excellent recovery and consistency

XFIT LYCRA fabric provides:

• Stretch and recovery in all directions
• Wider window of fit
• Exceptional comfort
• Authentic denim look and feel
• Excellent recovery for great shape retention
• Custom-like shaping
• Minimal shrinkage

The theme of the show, set by the team at Premiere Vision, is a 'Tribute to Japan'; a fashion concept based on the authentic craftsmanship and high quality production made within this country. INVISTA will honour this theme with Japanese-inspired furniture made of wood and brushed cotton in dark colours to be used to dress the LYCRADJ and COFFEE POINT.

INVISTA would like to thank the following customer mill base which will be exhibiting at the show and supporting INVISTA:
