To know more about this multifarious & trendsetter Group, Fibre2fashion spoke exclusively to Ms Amoli Shah who is the Marketing Director of Prashant Gamatex. She is a Mechanical Engineer along with which she has also a master's degree in Information Technology and also holds a MBA degree, both from USA. She joined the company in 2003, and is handling among many responsibilities; International business, Sales and Promotional activities and is also involved in policy making and strategizing to expand in to new businesses.

We began by asking her to tell us about from the day Prashant Group began its operations, to which she explained by saying, “Established since 1975, Prashant Group is one of India's prominent and fast growing engineering group. In 1987, with the vision of “serving Indian textile industry with world class product and service”, Prashant group signed a technical collaboration with Gamatex s.r.l. Italy for high speed sectional warping machine. Those days, only low speed and low technology variable cone sectional warping machines were available in India.

“Prashant Gamatex became the pioneer to introduce fixed cone high technology machines for the first time in India. These machines were widely accepted by prominent textile mills in India who understood the importance of good warping technology. Since then, Prashant Gamatex is on the path of continuous progress by introducing innovative products and technology comparable to high-tech European products. Two machines in first year to 120 machines per year, is the journey of Prashant Gamatex. What ever is the yarn, what ever is the application, Prashant Group has different types of machines to suit unique requirement of each customer.”
