Benzene prices stand firm

On December 16, benzene price implemented by Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing and Wuhan branches of Sinopec stood at 7,200 Yuan per ton, while that of Northeast branch under China National Petroleum was quoted at 7,050 Yuan per ton.
Implementation price of Lanzhou Petrochemical was at 6,650 Yuan per ton. Since domestic stocks of benzene are limited, the markets are showing strong tendencies, although transactions are limited.
In the East China market Benzene price stood firm at 7,100-7,200 Yuan per ton. In North China markets negotiating levels hovered between 6,950 and 7,100 Yuan per ton and in South China it ranged between 6,950-7,100 Yuan per ton.
