Techtextil India - very well organized event, KARL MAYER MALIMO

"Techtextil India is definitely one of the most powerful motors of the Indian textile industry in the current crisis", stated Shammi Nagpal, managing director of Messe Frankfurt India at the end of the fair. "It offers countless opportunities for both the domestic and the foreign producer".
Therefore the exhibitor KARL MAYER was satisfied with the high quality of the visitors. "Although Techtextil India was reduced in size, it was very well organized and visited by a competent public which knew what it wanted to see", said Dietmar Wolfermann from KARL MAYER MALIMO. The sales manager from Chemnitz had to answer many involved questions, especially with regard to the production of warp-knitted weft-insertion fabrics for advertising hoardings and geogrids and for webs for reinforcing components for lightweight constructions.
The remaining KARL MAYER business sectors were also the focus of lively interest. In the case of the high-production tricot and raschel machines discussion was focussed on the production of sahdow nets, agricultural nets and automotive textiles and with the warp preparation system the Opt-O-Matic drew the public like a magnet. The section warping machine is designed for the processing of industrial yarns and the high tensions which occur in those cases. In particular the Indian manufacturers of coated fabrics, tarpaulins, filters and conveyot belts enquired extensively about the production potential of the efficient preparation equipment.
"We were able prepare a large number of sales deals and projects on our stand and were astounded by the liveliness and comptetence of the visitors and the organization of the exhibition", declared sales manager Karl Varga – a verdict which was shared by many other exhibitors and which will also ensure full halls for the next Techtextil India.
