Chinese clothing enterprises adopt new sales models

At the recently held annual meeting of China Textile Industry Association, new modes of sales and marketing were discussed in detail. Vice President, Sun Rui Zhe pointed out that among many models the internet and networking models were promoted at a high level in 2009.
Online marketing has turned out to be a bright spot in the otherwise dull sales graph of many Chinese enterprises in 2009. According to statistics, 15.46 million people in 21 cities purchased 17.2 billion Yuan of clothing on-line in 2008 and it is expected to surpass 30 billion Yuan in 2009.
President of China Textile Industry Association Du Yuzhou says that it is not enough for Chinese products to have international competitiveness in just general quality and price and that the industry should innovate new products and explore ground-breaking ways to boost sales and exports.
