3 countries to co-develop textile products for older people

Three major textile producing countries; South Korea, Japan and China will gradually develop common standards on textiles and other commodities for older people.
The Technical Standards Institute under the Knowledge Economy Institute of the Ministry of South Korea said recently that the three countries would reach consensus on cooperation of developing common standards.
The three country forum has decided that common product standards for older people will be developed step by step starting from products, such as incontinence products, inflatable pool, security handlebar and posture correction products.
In addition, South Korea also raised a suggestion to develop standards of green fiber products at the forum.
