Recently the factory workers of a Taiwanese invested company; Zheng Yong Garment Factory had embarked on a strike. Following that strike, workers of another Taiwanese textile organisation, HO's Enterprise struck work.
The workers had been promised an increment beginning from the month of December, but when they did not receive the same in their salaries paid out in December, they decided to strike work, but in a peaceful manner.
Immediately after the strike was announced, a meeting between the management and union representatives was held, where it was announced that the increment would be paid in the salary that would be given in January.
The workers too joined back their workstations on receiving the news, but were optimistic of the fact that, the management of HO's Enterprise may once again renege on its promises of paying the same once again in January.
