Long-time area rug exhibitors reaffirm commitment to AmericasMart

After more than 20 years of proven success in Atlanta, established Area Rug showrooms continue their support of and partnership with AmericasMart this January. Bashian and Ebisons both key exhibitors in the Area Rug product center on Floor 5 in Building 1 have renewed their leases to ensure several more years of success.
“The largest collection of area rugs and carpets are here in Atlanta, and our customers come here,” says George Bashian, president of Bashian. “After 20 years of doing business in the area rug industry's premier Market destination, we know it's important to be here to gain the most and best business.” An exhibitor since 1989, Bashian has been a leading creator and importer of oriental rugs since 1931. Its oriental rugs are works of art, fascinating in richness of design, symbolism and color.
Like Bashian, Ebisons is also a family-owned operation and has been in business for decades, offering exquisite and complete collections of fine handmade oriental rugs from the Middle East and the Far East. All of the rugs imported are exclusively made for this firm by master craftsmen in India, China, Pakistan, Romania, Afghanistan, Turkey and Nepal.
“We've been a tenant for more than 25 years and just recently renewed our commitment to AmericasMart because Atlanta is the go-to Market for oriental rugs,” says Michael Harounian, principal of Ebisons. “It is the only comprehensive oriental rug Market.”
