Fashion show organiser looks for footing in South India

Fashionista, a fashion and lifestyle exhibition organizer is targeting South India's tier-II cities such as Vishakhapatanam, Coimbatore and Cochin, and non-metro cities to organize its fashion exhibitions.

The company plans to organize 16 fashion exhibitions in the country next year. Fashion wear sees huge demands in tire-II cities of the country, so the company plans to provide new fashion wear in these cities at affordable prices through their exhibitions, said Managing Director Fashionista and television actor, Mr. Pawan Shankar.

At present, the company has presence in states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. In the year 2009, Fashionista organized 10 fashion exhibitions in India.

The company offers opportunities to new and growing fashion designers through its exhibitions, which are proving to be ideal platforms for local designers to flaunt their designs on national level.

The first fashion exhibition of the company had been organized in Nagpur, in April 2008.
