A machine washable silk fabric has been developed by the High Fashion (Zhejiang) Group, which is anti-wrinkle and shrink-proof fabric too. This silk fabric has been processed with a special weaving technology, in order to get rid of its basic nature of shrinking and wrinkling.
This fabric is also being developed by considering fashion trend and consumer psychology. Width of this fabric is around 300 cm, which is produced on imported and advanced extra-broad rapier looms. This multiplies the application categories of silk fabrics solely from apparel to home textile including beddings and curtain decorations.
Apart from the features of being anti-wrinkle, shrink-proof and washable in machine; softness and great drapability are the additional features of this fabric which offers it an promising market in future.
