Welcome to the German Pavilion at the 21st edition of the International Jewellery Tokyo, 27th to 30th January 2010 in Tokyo, Japan. The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) as well as the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) are for the 20th time supporting a German group participation at IJT 2010, giving 18 German companies, focusing on the significance of Germany as Europe's second largest producer of jewellery, the possibility to showcase and promote their excellent products to international visitors.

The quality of German products that is worldwide associated with the slogan "made in Germany" constitutes the basis of the excellent reputation which jewellery and silverware from Germany has been enjoying in 160 export markets around the globe. The success is due to a unique comprehensive training system, a high level of technology and decades of experience.

The Federation of German Jewellery, Watches & Clocks, Silverware and related Industries and the Federal Association of the Precious Stones and Diamond Industry as initiating associations for the group participation are accompanying the “German Pavilion” and providing professional advice.

The “German Pavilion” is organised by the fair agency gmbh and designed by the architect Bernhard Buschmann. We wish all participants a successful show and extend a warm welcome to all visitors of the “German Pavilion” at Tokyo Big Sight.
