C.L.A.S.S. (Creativity Lifestyle and Sustainable Synergy) and Massimo Lonigro, founder and CEO of the Fashion Helmet company and brand, are pleased to announce their new special partnership.

C.L.A.S.S. is a global network of three showrooms in Milan, London and New York, oriented to the promotion and preservation of the ethical and aesthetical side of business, with a particular attention to values of eco-sustainability of products presented by fashion and design companies.

Fashion Helmet's Green Vision will consist in the exclusive launch of a series of accessories created with ecofriendly materials which are highly technological at the same time, inspired by an eco-philosophy which also means recovery, recycling and creative remix for the better of contemporary society.

Apart from the eco-leather no-season models which are available in different natural colours the latest innovation at Fashion Helmet is the new helmet completely covered with a velvet made of Ingeo by G Tex and refined with vegetal tanned and dyed leather by Conceria Tre Effe. Ingeo is a high tech fibre-system by NatureWorks, 100% derived from sugar plants, not oil, which has been used as an interior design element as well for the fitting of the Fashion Helmet booth inside the Cavaniglia Pavilion at Pitti Uomo. An eco-friendly texture, a unique one for its qualities of brightness, ultra light weight, special soft touch and easy care concept. The Fashion Helmet Ingeo innovation has been also recently on stage at the Copenhagen Fashion Summit which took place during the United Nations Climate Conference on December 2009.

Ingeo material will be part of the motorbike helmets as well as of the bike helmets. Moreover, a special, versatile bag branded FH by 959 will also be presented, which is designed by Paolo Ferrari, a CLASS partner as well. The bag is born under the philosophy of recycling and is a very functional helmets-holder, ideal for travelling, created entirely out of original seat belts recuperated from scrap yards. The idea is both ethical and contemporarily aesthetic and focuses on the relationship between use value and aesthetic value of an object in an original way, giving seatbelts a new social status: that of a daily accessory which enters to all effects in the world of fashion.

Design, fashion and green vision meet together under the creative philosophy of Fashion Helmet conveying a message of “clever” luxury, dedicated to the new “global nomad” people and to the current dynamic and updated lifestyle for a client who is looking for stylish, personalized and innovative design products - using reliable top quality materials – and which are mainly caring about the environment.
