An international Reverse Buyer Seller Meet; 'Source India' is being organized on January 28-29, 2010 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Mumbai, by The Synthetic & Rayon Textile Export Promotion Council, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

The event is essentially aimed at promoting export of Indian man-made textile products across the world, particularly in the growing markets of Middle-East Asia and Africa. Over 300 Senior business Executives/owners/Directors of importing companies, from Importers in Countries like Saudi Arabia, Syria, UAE, Algeria, Egypt, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Ethiopia, Morocco are expected to come to the event as visitors. Besides, importers from South Asian Countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh countries and Vietnam have also registered.

About 200 major sourcing offices of global retailers and brands in India, 500 leading garment exporters from all over India, all leading Indian and international apparel and fashion accessories brands & retailers (Many of whom are turning big importers now) from across India are expected as visitors.

Over 100 leading exporters of synthetic textile products like fibers, yarns, fabrics, readymade garments, home textiles and technical textiles, fashion accessories from leading centres like Mumbai, Delhi, Surat, Bhilwara, Coimbatore, Rajasthan, Punjab, Ahmedabad including leaders like Reliance, Grasim, Raymond, Siyaram, Mayur, Garden and several fast growing medium size exporters will be exhibiting at this event. CEOs or senior decision makers from most of these export companies would be present at Source India .

The event has very limited space and is focussed on high quality business visitors. It will also feature 3 fashion shows by Marc Robinson. Amongst various services we have provision for a booth for one international courier & logistics company.

Source India obviously is a highly focussed and very high potential promotional and business opportunity for a logistics company like TNT, as almost all visitors and exhibitors constitute high potential and long term target customers. Besides, some of them needing spot services of an international courier service, this event will be a direct connection and networking forum with senior decision makers and that too in a non competitive environment.

The event will be inaugurated by the Textile Minister, Dayanidhi Maran. Commerce Minister, Mr. Anand Sharma, Textile Secretary and several other dignitaries and media are also expected to attend.
