Americo unveils new collection of vinyl upholstery fabrics

Americo Inc., a leading manufacturer of vinyl fabrics for table covers and upholstery, has introduced a designer line of premium vinyl upholstery fabrics for business. The "Distinctions Collection" features 16 patterns and 149 colors to provide designers, decorators and architects with vinyl that is fashionable and affordable.

"We developed this exclusive collection based on requests from customers, who wanted a broader selection of designer patterns in vinyl upholstery," said Ed Straub, president and CEO of Americo.

"In this economy, architects and designers need fabrics that look great, but don't cost a fortune to purchase or maintain," added Straub. Americo vinyl upholstery provides a low-maintenance alternative to expensive leathers and high-end woven fabrics.

Americo's vinyl upholstery fabrics are all performance-tested. They are ideal for chairs, barstools, booths, benches and other furnishings because they retain their softness and color even in high-use settings, such as restaurants, offices, hotels, hospitals, and more.

The Distinctions Collection features designs that range from contemporary to traditional, ethnic to urban, formal to casual. Color choices cover the spectrum from elegant neutrals to tropical hues and include coordinating leather-grain and woven-look solids.

"Now designers, architects, upholsterers, and decorators don't have to sacrifice style when the job calls for the durability of vinyl," says Straub.
