The National Textile Association has been contacted by a company seeking a source in the US-CAFTA-DR region for melton wool/nylon fabric of the sort classifiable in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the U.S. at 5111.30.9000, of the following specifications:

Fiber Content: 80% new wool, 20% nylon
Yarn Size: 24 microns / 4.8NM
Construction: Melton wool and nylon,, 12.2 ends per cm, 8.7 picks per cm
Weight: 465-510 grams/sq. meter, 23-25 ounces/linear yd.
Width: 147 to 152 cm unsponged
Finish: Milled and dyed
Quantity Requested: 150,000 sme/yr
