An ACN plant operated by China Petrochemical Development Corporation (CPDC) and located at Kaohsiung in Taiwan is scheduled to go off-stream in April 2010 under a planned maintenance turnaround schedule.

Fibre2fashion spoke to an official source in CPDC who said that the ACN plant which has a capacity of 180,000 tons per annum will be shutdown for a period of 10 days from the first week of April.

The ACN plant has two production lines, each with a production capacity of 90,000 tons per year and now it is running at full production capacity. According to the official source, the plant was earlier scheduled for the turnaround in June.
