The Government of Pakistan yet again reiterated its commitment by saying that there was no proposal to ban exports of cotton yarn.

This was said by the Federal Minister of Textiles, Mr Rana Farooq Saeed Khan in a written reply to a query posed in the Senate.

He replied by saying that, since the textile ministry had already taken steps to stabilize the prices and availability of the same, there was no reason to impose ban.
