Online ServicesGDS online services, in particular, are a key cornerstone of the fair's service range. A comprehensive range of services and information is available to visitors for prefect preparation for the fair. Every registered trade visitor receives a Check-In card. This allows them to use the online advance ticket sales option at www.gds-online.com/tickets_1, have tickets sent to them or purchase tickets at the ticket office on the day on presentation of this Check-In card. This means separate registration is no longer necessary on site thereby saving visitors time in long queues.
GDS' MyServices offers visitors a range of personal online aids to simplify preparations for their visit to the trade fair in Düsseldorf. These include features like MyOrganizer, a personal notebook, and MyKatalog for compiling your own individual catalogue. In addition to trend information, an overview of the accompanying supporting programme and current sectoral news the website has additional information on the themed worlds at GDS, a comprehensive exhibitor and product database with a search function and an interactive hall layout plan all ready for visitors. Exhibitors present themselves in the Exhibitor Showrooms with photos, collection descriptions and company profiles. In the Media Centre GDS shows its visitors impressions of trade fair activities in the form of pictures, photo galleries and video clips. Tickets are available in Germany until 07/03/2010, in Europe until 05/03/2010 and overseas until 04/03/2010. Tickets can also be purchased in advance via the foreign representations of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH.
