The Nuance Group North America is the proud recipient of the 2010 DFNI Award for “Best Airport Travel Retailer in the Americas”. The awards annually are bestowed by DFNI for travel retailing best practices. The awards are determined based on a voting open to all companies operating in the Americas travel-retail market. Nuance received its award on February 25 at the Marriott World Center hotel in Orlando during the Duty Free Show of the Americas.

Dick Rendek, CEO, The Nuance Group North America, commented: “The Nuance Group is very pleased to have been recognized for this prestigious award. I would like to thank all of our business partners for their support and our key suppliers for providing Nuance unique and exclusive promotional opportunities. Nuance has made significant investments in its retail operations over the last several years particularly in the development and implementation of its proprietary 'Best Selling' program. Many thanks to our dedicated employees for their efforts and contributions towards the achievements of this honor.”

Swiss-based The Nuance Group is a leader in the travel retail industry, operating 430 outlets across 59 airports and 19 countries around the globe and employing 5,200 staff. In addition to its duty- and tax-free operation, the Nuance portfolio comprises specialist shops as well as food & beverage operations, distribution, in flight services and shops in other travel retail channels.
