The 8th edition of Première Vision Moscou will be taking place Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March 2010 at the Manege, in the heart of the Russian capital. The show will showcase the best in textile creativity for the spring summer 11 season.

Twice a year, in March and October, Première Vision Moscou brings together international exhibitors with some 1,200 Russian buyers looking for especially creative products for their clothing collections. For this edition, 71 exhibitors from 8 countries (Germany, Bulgaria, Spain, France, Italy, Japan, Portugal and Turkey) will be present. They will be showing a unique offer of fabrics and fashion accessories organised in style universes (seduction / distinction / relax / pulsation / accessories buttons, ribbons etc.)

Russian buyers particularly appreciate the opportunity to see, touch and choose from the latest trends and textile innovations while remaining in their own territory. The latest edition of the show - in October 2009 - registered a notable increase in the number of visits. Major names in Russian fashion, designers and clothing makers were all at the show: Slava Zaitsev, Max Chernitsov, Viktoria Andreyanova, couture house Alena Akhmadullina, Bolshevichka, Eva Collection, Glance, Kenfort SPB, Kristy, Lancelot, Oggi, Personage, Paolo Conte, Zimaletto and others.

Visitors to the show are equally seeking forward-looking fashion information specially adapted to the Russian market, presented in 4 directions:
• The Fabric Forum: a selection of the most representative samplings of the exhibitors' collections, this is a practical tool to energise and help in the research and conception of clothing collections.

• 'Vision spring summer 11': a film of discovery and inspiration.

• A new area dedicated to the Season's Bests; a concrete look, in images, of international buyers' fabric and colour choices.

• Trend master class: buyers greatly look forward to this event during which Sabine Le Chatelier, Première Vision associate fashion director, elaborates the season's fabric and colour highlights. (seminars in Russian, every day at noon and 3 p.m., in the Fabric Forum. Free entry. )

Philippe Pasquet, CEO of Première Vision, underlines that "Russia is going through a complex economic period, but the signs of recovery we are getting from the Russian fashion market are encouraging, and we would like to be optimistic about the future. Russian fashion professionals are currently preparing collections for the spring summer 11 season, collections we will experience in a more favourable economic context, as the general consensus is that the recovery will be underway at that time."
