Associated Textile Consultants partake at Megatech 2010

Associated Textile Consultants (ATC), the leading one-stop B2B supplier of textile systems, technological components and services to the textile industry in Pakistan, introduced visitors to the best in textile manufacturing equipment at Megatech 2010.
A large number of trade professionals and textile experts visited the ATC booth to learn about the latest in textile machinery, accessories and parts available. Visitors were able to get the required information in a well-appointed setup with ATC textile experts present to answer queries.
Organised at the Karachi Expo Centre from March 4 to 6, Megatech Pakistan 2010 introduced overseas suppliers of textile and garment materials, accessories and parts and machinery to the textile industry of Pakistan.
ATC Chairman Abdul Majeed, who is also Convener and Director of the Textile Research and Innovation Centre (TRIC) and Member, Board of Governors, Textile Institute of Pakistan (TIP), organized two (half day) technical textiles conferences in collaboration with TIP. The conferences, entitled “Technical Textiles: Global Trends and Prospects in Pakistan,” were held on March 5 and 6 for medical textiles and Geo-textiles, respectively.
A large number of foreign and local specialists shared their expertise including Dr Zubair Bandukda (UK), Prof Stephen Russell (University of Leeds), Prof Dr Niaz Ahmed Akhtar (National Textile University), Arif Hasan (TIP), Dr Anbahan Ariadurai (TIP), Nadeem Shoqat (Textile University of Faisalabad), M Kamran Iqbal (TRIC), Ms Madiha Zaidi (NED), and Ms Syeda Faiza Jamil (TIP).
