Indorama postpones PTA plant turnaround

Indorama Polymers Public Company Limited (IRP), formerly known as Indo Pet (Thailand) has postponed the planned maintenance shutdown of its PTA plant, scheduled in May 2010 as per an official source at IRP.
The source told fibre2fashion that, the maintenance turnaround of its PTA plant with a capacity of 740,000 tons per year, located in Map Ta Phut, has been postponed from May 2010 to June 2010 and will last for two weeks.
The source attributed the postponement to the unplanned closure of the PTA plant on February 10, 2010 due to a power outage for a period of 5-6 days. He added by saying that, as of now the PTA plant is running at full capacity.
