Huntsman Textile Effects (HTE) announced it is evaluating its options for manufacturing capacity expansion of its world leading Fluoro Triazine (FT) technology for Reactive Dyes in support of increased market demand and to further strengthen its manufacturing footprint within Asia.

Mr Paul Hulme, President of Huntsman Textile Effects division highlighted “Continuing to meet the increasing demands of our strategic customers and the key markets that we serve is of the highest priority for us while retaining our strong competitive cost leadership position.”

“As the innovation leader within the industry, we are looking to leverage our expertise and the many years of our development and operating experience in order to fast track this expansion within Asia and to offer to the global market the most competitive and comprehensive solutions” he said.

The existing manufacturing sites at Mahachai, Thailand and Baroda, India are being considered for this expansion.
