Methanex posts April methanol contract prices

Methanex has slashed its April regional contract methanol prices for Asia Pacific. The regional methanol contract price for April is US $345 per ton, which is lower by $20 per ton from the contract price posted for March which stood at $365 per ton.
In the case of the European region, the contract price will be €250 per ton, which is higher by €15 per ton from the corresponding price in March.
For North America, the non-discounted reference price for the month of April 2010 will be $1.10 per gallon or $366 per ton, which is a rollover from the prices announced in the previous month.
Methanex is the world's largest supplier of methanol to major international markets in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America and has manufacturing, marketing and supply chain capabilities across the globe.
