Chinese benzene market stable & strong

China's domestic benzene market was stable and strong yesterday, and trading sentiment was fair. Market price ranged in between 7,600-7,700 Yuan per ton in East China, stood at 7,400-7,500 Yuan per ton in South China and was quoted at 7,400-7,500 Yuan per ton in North China.
In the Asian markets, benzene prices grew by US $7 from the previous day to close at US $982-985 per ton (FOB Korea). Lanzhou Petrochemical officially raised its ex-factory price by 200 Yuan per ton, to take its implementation level to 7,050 Yuan per ton.
According to market analysts, the domestic benzene market has picked up due to the impact of rising oil prices and overseas offers, domestic offers are on high level and trading activity is good. Traders expect that domestic market trends will turn for the better.
