Martin Automatic will be exhibiting at Idea 2010, to be held in Miami Beach, Florida from April 27-29. Martin Automatic Inc's booth number is 818. In today's economy, notes Mike Jelinsky, Sales Engineer for Martin "The continued emphasis in nonwovens converting and production is to increase throughput by increasing process speeds. At the same time, material basis weights and a web's load-bearing capability continue to decrease. These lighter material structures can only run successfully at lower web tension levels.
The opposing trends of lower tensions and higher speeds present real challenges for splicing and web handling."
