In China, market conditions of domestic pure benzene were stable on Wednesday, transaction atmosphere appeared normal.
In the Asian markets, benzene moved US $3 higher than the previous day and closed at $999-1001 per ton (FOB Korea) on April 13.
In the Chinese market, benzene price in East China stood at 8,000-8050 Yuan per ton, in South China, it was quoted at between 7900-7950 Yuan per ton and in North China it was 7900-7950 Yuan per ton.
Continuing drop in international oil prices had little impact on the market, but the market was influenced by slight increase of overseas offers.
Market participants expect that the Chinese domestic benzene market may consolidate more in the coming days.
