GlobalTex welcomes DeDe Anderson

Market Center Management Company (MCMC), the management company of GlobalTex: LA International Textile & Sourcing Fair,announced that DeDe Anderson has joined the GlobalTex team as a West Coast sales manager. Anderson will work primarily with garment manufacturing, denim textiles/wash houses, sublimation printing and knitwear manufacturers.
“DeDe has pioneered new products into the West Coast apparel industry,” said Stephanie Cole, vice president, GlobalTex.“With her diverse background and years of experience with textile and apparel manufacturers in California and beyond, she is a perfect fit. We are thrilled to welcome such an innovative and knowledgeable individual to the GlobalTex team.”
Anderson's extensive background and knowledge of the manufacturing processes geared toward the textile industry will further increase the diversity of product categories and expertise of the GlobalTex team. Over the years, Anderson has presented manufacturing products and services to national accounts such as Nike, Speedo USA and Asics America Corporation. She has extensive sales experience with domestic and international embroidery and lace, as well as sublimation printing and hardware components for swimwear and intimates. In addition, she has worked with wet printing on nylon/Lycra and pigment printing on cotton to convert fabrics from artwork to printed piece goods. Anderson is also credited as the first female member on the Textile Association of Los Angeles board of directors. She is based in Los Angeles and will report to Stephanie Cole.
GlobalTex is the first full-scale production and design trade show in the United States presenting the complete supply chain for fashion. GlobalTex features the latest fabric, trim, yarn, textile design, garment manufacturing including private label, and manufacturing technology. he show attracts leading designers, product developers, retailers, and wholesalers. In addition, the show offers helpful tailored networking services and practical seminars that support the global fashion and design industries.
