Manduka, the world's leader in high performance yoga gear, announced the launch of the new MatWare Mat Sleeve the latest addition to its ergonomically inspired MatWare line of yoga mat carriers. Designed for the yogi who likes to keep their yoga mat protected while on the go, the MatWare Mat Sleeve like all Manduka products is sleek, convenient, innovative and earth friendly.

Made from 100% recycled poly fabric recovered from plastic bottles (PET) that are melted down and spun into polyester fiber thread, the MatWare Mat Sleeve is not only eco-friendly, but also water resistant and extremely durable. And, keeping with Manduka's mission to be forever mindful of its responsibility as stewards of the planet, the production process of the Mat Sleeve is certified by Oeko Tex for conserving petroleum and ultimately reducing CO2 emissions and energy consumption.

Sleek and surprisingly spacious, the MatWare Mat Sleeve is available in two sizes (Small and Large) to fit any yogi's mat size preference, including the legendary Black Mat PRO. With a wide, top loading flap for convenient and easy yoga mat insertion and removal, the Mat Sleeve also features a stable, structured base that helps prevent the Mat Sleeve and mat from bending and ultimately losing its shape. Unlike other mat bags, ventilation points are placed strategically throughout the sleeve to ensure proper airing to avoid unwanted smells and bacterial growth after intense yoga sessions.

"For years we have offered our Manduka MatSak, and more recently we launched the Manduka Mat Sling under our new MatWare Collection. But we felt like something was still missing from our line of yoga mat carriers something exceptionally versatile, totally earth friendly and exceedingly high quality," said Manduka CEO, Sky Meltzer. "In response, we created the Manduka MatWare MatSleeve the perfect carrier for any type and size yoga mat, designed to last a lifetime. Whether you travel from the office to the studio, traverse the globe or spend your weekend practicing outdoors, the MatWare Mat Sleeve is the optimal way to transport and protect your yoga gear."

Created with comfort and durability in mind, the MatWare Mat Sleeve has an adjustable, smooth nylon strap and sliding shoulder pad making it an excellent accessory for all yogi types while carrying mats on longer walking trips, commutes or bike rides—without the added bulk. Its high quality, brushed aluminum hardware and fittings are stylish yet low profile and its water resistant, premium zippers are reversible and designed for easy grip. With custom clips and rings to secure your keys, water bottle, towel and apparel, the Mat Sleeve looks great and functions brilliantly. And, for the traveling yogi, the Mat Ware Mat Sleeve secretly flaunts an inside 'safe' compartment for all your valuables giving it multipurpose function for overnight or air travel.
