All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), Punjab's sub-committee on gas urged the government to facilitate the textile industry with an uninterrupted gas supply as it strongly decided for not accepting any gas load management program.

The sub-committee with a number of textile mill representatives met the Convener of the Committee, Mr. Shahzad Ali Khan at the Punjab office, wherein the Convener explained the members regarding the current scenario of irregular gas supply and industry issues due to it.

Gas supplier of Pakistani textile industry, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has started to cut gas supply to the textile industry once in a week, since past two weeks.

Gas supply restriction to the textile industry is up to 100 MMCFD. The textile industry on the PEPCO network is facing 4 hours announced and 10 hours unannounced power cut.
