Shri Upadhyay in his address stressed upon a need for a core committee consisting of applicants, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Textiles Committee for devising proper strategy on the issues relating to infringement and also for brand promotion. He expressed his willingness to be a part of the core committee for the implementing the different activities. He lauded Textiles Committee and UNCTAD India for supporting the artisan communities in this important aspect and welcomed the stakeholders for achieving such a milestone.
