Mandhana Industries, a textile company, which has recently been listed on BSE and NSE, targets to generate over Rs 7.5 billion as revenue in the fiscal 2011, as the market depicts an upward trend with great demand for textile goods, said the company Managing Director, Manish Mandhana.

In the fiscal 2010, the company has already reached Rs 5.9 billion. However, the final results of this fiscal will only be revealed by the end of June, he added. Mandhana Industries produces 70 percent textiles and 30 percent apparels and its overall turnover for the year 2009 stood at Rs 4.6 billion.

The company, which is engaged in designing, yarn dyeing, weaving, processing and apparel production, targets to double its weaving capacity to 36 million meters by January 2011. It also intends to swell its clothing production capacity to 4.3 million pieces per year, added Mandhana.

The company has also collected Rs 1.08 billion, through a share-sale basis last month, which it intends to utilize in establishing the garment manufacturing facilities at Tarapur in Maharashtra.
