Bekaert Textiles, a Belgian mattress tick producer will soon be expanding its headquarters and production operations at the Union Cross Business Park, US. This growth is expected to add almost 60 jobs on location.

As per a senior official from the company, of the 60 almost 40 jobs have already been given out in the past several months, reaching an employment figure of 186 people. Additional 20 or more are likely to get filled in the coming year.

Recently, the company purchased 83,000-square-foot facility at 200 Business Park Drive. According to an official, this will help in increasing the company's production and inventory capacity.

The new property is located next to Bekaert's existing 232,000-suqare-foot building that operates both as headquarter and manufacturing base for Bekaert USA.
