Dallas-based golf garment company, True Linkswear, inks a multiyear deal till 2012 with Puyallup golf player, Ryan Moore, after a long discussion on negotiation. Moore has also committed to invest in the company.
Moore introduced the trial version of True Linkswear golf shoes at Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, the PGA Tour stop in Fort Worth, Texas. Last November, Moore had also become part-owner of a second company, golf club producer, Scratch Golf.
Linkswear gold shoes are light and extremely comfortable, exclaimed Moore. He further said that, since he is a 'feel' player, wherein he feels and experiences every part of his game, from tee box to the green. Therefore, Linkswear shoes helped him attain the 'barefoot' experience while practicing or playing a golf match.
Currently, the shoe is known as 'soft-spike hybrid' shoe in the market. They are both, lighter than the normal golf shoes and also make an individual feel closer to ground.
As per Moore's older brother, Jeremy Moore, co-president of Moore Sports Management, Linkswear shoes are so comfortable that one can wear them all the time, in the morning, play golf and finally wear them when out for dinner.
Jeremy said that, both the brands, True Linkswear and Scratch Golf were helping promote Ryan's uniqueness and his ability to stand apart from the crowd. In addition, the brands were promoting their products by allowing Ryan to be creative.
However, these golf shoes will not be available for the general public till next fall.
