Indo Count's revenues spin up 97% in Q2

The plan, funded through a combination of debt, fresh equity and internal accruals, will be implemented in two phases.
ICIL has already tied up for funding for the first phase of expansion through a preferential allotment of 40 lakh shares to Matterhorn Ventures and Lotus Global Investments at Rs 33 per share amounting to Rs 13.2 crore.
The balance will be invested through a mix of internal accruals and debt.
This facility will commence trial production by June 2006.
Indo Count Industries Ltd, a 100 percent Export Oriented Unit, is one of the leading spinning & knitting mills in India.
It commenced production of combed cotton yarns in 1991 with a plant located at Kolhapur in Maharashtra.
The company uses state-of-the-art machines from Rieter, Schlafhorst, Volkmann, Luwa, Uster, Mayer & Cie and Lakshmi Machine Works.
Indo Count has an installed capacity of 59.500 spindles and has diversified into Corespun Yarns and Knitted Fabrics.
Indo Count's yarn is sold under the name of 'Rieter Yarn, a status that is conferred by Rieter Machine Works, Switzerland. Its customer base is spread in all major markets like UK, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Israel, Canada, Chile, Japan and South Korea.
It has diversified into electronic manufacturing services for white goods and electronics items for customers like LG, Samsung and TCL. Indo Count's plants are ISO 9001 certified.
